I don’t know about you all, but for me, anxiety was a real problem. From the time I was born, until I was in 5th grade...yes, 5th grade, I used to cry every first day of school. In fact, up until about 3rd grade, I used to cry every single morning before school. I used to get “mom-sick”. I had a connection with my mom where I felt unstable without her, and rightfully so. For another example, on days where we didn’t have school, (usually in the summer, up until I was like 9) my mom, before going to take a nap, would ask me, “Alright Jack, you can either watch a movie while I nap or you can take a nap with me.” Of course, I chose the nap almost every time (unlike any other 5 year old). I only started to feel more comfortable and confident without my family a few years ago (specifically, 4). A lot of times, we have trouble finding comfort in our lives. Whether it be our family, our friends, or even our own faith. Psalm 9:10 states, “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. (NIV)” This verse means a lot to me, because I have experienced this in many occasions. As I have grown a lot closer to the Lord, and studied His word more, I have felt closer to Him. Just recently, there was something that I was trying to understand, something that was really confusing. Because of my constant want of understanding that sometimes I shouldn’t have, I felt annoyed and even a little depressed. As time went on, I really felt like the Lord was telling me to give up striving, and just rest in Him. As Christians, one of the worst things that we could do in a troubling time, is to strive to escape it. The whole point of a troubling times is to force us to rest in the Lord, and trust that He will deliver us. Why can’t we have a connection with our Creator that makes us feel unstable without Him? After all, we owe Him our trust. God has never failed us, therefore, why wouldn’t we trust Him in all situations?

Well said... it is sad that we don’t feel more unstable when we don’t rely on God 24/7!

FYI: I usually napped bc I was pregnant 🤰🏼 Just sayin’ 😴🤷🏼‍♀️😏
