The Life Update That No One Saw Coming

Almost five years ago, I started this journal. I decided I wanted a place where I could go to share my thoughts and the things that I learned about God, the Bible, and what it looks like to follow Him and be a Christian. As you may have noticed, I have been a little M.I.A. over the past three-ish years. I wanted to give an update for anyone who may be reading this, or who may have been keping up with my journals.
First of all, I would like to thank God for designing me with the desire and love for writing. I love that I am able to express a lot of what I think and learn into an excerpt on my computer/notebook. I have so much fun writing, and have come to see that writing what I learn only helps me more in my personal and spiritual growth. Secondly, I would like to apologize for being so terribly inconsistent with posting on here. I always knew I needed to make an actual writing schedule; however, I never ended up doing so. I am sorry to those few people who genuinely looked forward to reading my journal entries, and I am especially sorry to the couple of people who told me to not stop writing. I feel upset with myself that I did not continue to use this gift and platform to glorify the Lord like I should have.
About three years ago, I guess you could say that I got a little busy pursuing my wife...Jokes aside, that did play a pretty big role in my lack of writing, and that is something minor that I regret! Over the past three years, I have not stopped learning and journaling. I have only learned exponentially more, and am beyond excited to share my thoughts with you all in the future. I have a lot of filling in to do, and I'd love to get back into the habbit of writing and sharing what the Lord is teaching me. Not many young men have the desire to write what they learn and share it, so I want to use this gift as an opportunity to know Christ and make Him known.
Now, if writing is something that I stay consistent with (not very bullish on that), I would like to have a more scructured style of writing. So, if any of you are interested in hearing anything specific, I will happily take suggestions. I could take more of a theological approach to my excerpts, writing about different topics of theology. I could also write more directly off of Scripture and provide, observations, interpretations, and applications. Or, I could keep them more spontaneous and related to what is going on in the world, similar to how I have written in the past. All three options are great for me, so if anyone has preferences or thoughts, please share them with me. My phone number should be at the bottom of the page if you are unsure how to contact me.
I love you all, and am so undeserving of the support that you all have shown to me. God has dealt bountifully with me. Talk to you soon.
Jack
